The Connecticut Surety Association

The Connecticut Surety Association is a non-profit organization of surety companies, underwriters, surety bond producers and agents, attorneys, accountants, consultants, and others related to or with an interest in the construction and surety industries in Connecticut.

Our Mission:
The Connecticut Surety Association is committed to promoting awareness and understanding of the benefits of suretyship through:

•   sponsoring, hosting and conducting education seminars on the importance of surety bonds to the construction industry and informing our members and the construction community of construction and surety issues and information

•   separately and in conjunction with the American Surety Association and other organizations monitoring legislation affecting the construction and surety industry in Connecticut

•   where appropriate and necessary employing resources and our membership to effect or modify proposed legislation effecting the surety industry in Connecticut

• serving as vehicle for our members to network with others in the construction and surety industry in Connecticut.
